Wierd.....wild......wonderful! This fantastic set boasts a little bit of everything, and a whole lot of pinache! If you are looking for something out of the ordinary to add flair and focus to a special project you may have just found it.
Unique, free-formed edge... burled... spalted... curly... pin knotty... wide Hard Maple. These three pieces have it all! From color variation in the lumber to some crazy eye catching grain all around the burl and pin knot clusters. The possibilities are endless.

Each flitch is 9'8 in length and 2" thick (8/4) for a total of 68.7bf |
This lumber has air dried for years before being finished dried. The years of air drying did cause piece #1 to develop some lengthwise bow, but it is nothing that can’t be elimintated with the proper techniques. Mother nature wouldn’t give us something like this without a bit of a challenge. The other 2 pieces are flat as can be! |
