The low down:
Set # 426A ..... approximately 100 bf of the kind of consistency you can only expect when the wood all comes from the same tree. This selection, cut consecutively from 2 logs, boasts some nice Bird's Eye widths. The size of the figure ranges from small to large eyes and the coverage is medium to heavy.
SET # 426B ..... this is a much smaller bundle, approximately 20 bf. The wood contains some awesome curl with heavy Bird's Eye figure.
SET # 426B ..... a solid set of charcter Bird's Eye Maple. This set contains some heartwood, which creates an interesting contrast of color with the sapwood. There are also some knots adding to the charcter. The figure is mostly heavy Bird's Eye, thinning out to medium coverage on a few of the pieces. This is a real sweet set containing 80 bf of character wood.
